Limb Shipping was established by Chris Limb in 1992, as Shipbrokers & Forwarding Agents, having previously been part of the Old Limb Group of Companies.

The company has gone from strength to strength, having expanded considerably since the appointment of Dean Booth as a Director in September 2017. Dean brought a wealth of experience into the business, having worked in shipping on the River Trent for over 20 years before joining.

Limb Shipping formed a partnership with Charles M. Willie & Co. Shipping Ltd. Through our partnership, our customers are granted direct access to the only surviving British Fleet of commercial vessels, now 14 strong, ranging from 3600 to 5400 tonne carrying capacity vessels. On top of this, our partnership ensures we have access to a large network of trusted trading partners, opening up the market to our customers.  

In order to further expand, in 2021 Limb Shipping welcomed Niall Ramsey to the team. Niall primarily focuses on our Ships Agency services, which he has significantly developed during his time.

We offer complete freight solutions, from manufacturing site to end user. Sourcing Road Haulage, Port Storage, Stevedoring & Sea Freight. Along with being able to offer Ships Agency services on the East & West coast of the UK.
